´The Refectory´, recalling
the monasteries where the
community would gather three
times a day for meals,
preceded by prayers. A cosy
sitting room known as ´The
Library´ is at the disposal
of the guests, who, here as
in the other public rooms,
can enjoy a good read or
talk with friends, and be
served refreshments by the
bar service. Upon request,
we are delighted to organise
a private cocktail reception
and an exclusive luncheon or
dinner for 10 to 60 people. Refectorium

Castel Sant' Angelo
(Rome):
The Castel Sant'Angelo is
towering cylindrical building
in Rome, near San Peter's
Square, initially
commissioned by the Roman
Emperor Hadrian as a
mausoleum for himself and
his family. The building
spent over a thousand years
as a fortress and castle,
and is now a museum.
The Tomb of Hadrian was
erected on the right bank of
the Tiber, between 135 and
139. Originally, the
mausoleum was a decorated
cylinder, with a garden top
and the golden quadriga of
the emperor...
